M85 is a Berlin-based studio that creates modular furniture for a new generation: people who move, evolve, and refuse to compromise. Crafted using recycled and recyclable materials, each item is designed in Berlin and expertly manufactured in Italy. Our pieces adapt to new spaces and new chapters without creating waste.
Silvia Chenet
Italian product designer with a background in architecture and design education across Italy, Canada, and Germany. She has experience in digital and physical products, with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and detail. Her work is shaped by a passion for timeless design and the intersection of form and function.
Schano Jeong
Licensed architect from Korea with an educational background in Switzerland and Germany, and experience in both Korea and Germany. He specializes in renovation and adaptive reuse projects, combining technical expertise with a passion for preserving and reimagining existing architecture.
Manifesto
M85 designs furniture that lasts, adapts, and moves with the people who own it, responding to a way of living defined by constant movement rather than permanence, aiming to provide high quality solutions and reducing waste and avoiding disposable solutions.
Each piece is engineered for flexibility, durability, and minimal aesthetics, combining Berlin’s design with expert manufacturing in Veneto, Italy.
M85’s goal is to create timeless, reconfigurable designs that integrate seamlessly into the environments they inhabit.
Alongside its furniture collections, M85 also produces limited-edition home accessories, maintaining the same focus on longevity, adaptability, and refined simplicity.
M85’s work is guided by the belief that design should serve bot people and the planet, from the raw materials selected to the way each product is assembled without glue, ensuring full recyclability.
